The holiday-themed edition comes with the Xbox Series S console, controller, and everything else you need to play.
Xbox Series S Holiday consoles are still available at Amazon and Walmart for $240, if you still need an Xbox this holiday season. Cyber Monday’s deal was one of Amazon’s hottest gaming deals, and the retailer threw in a $40 digital credit for future purchases. The Series S is still a great deal at $240, even though that promotion is over. Shipping is free and fast at both retailers. Because of last-minute orders and stock shortages, delivery windows lengthen closer to Christmas. Don’t miss out on the Xbox Series S if you’re interested.
Only the packaging makes this Xbox Series S different from the regular one. The console comes with everything you need, including a wireless controller, two AA batteries, an HDMI cable, and a standard power supply.
It doesn’t come with built-in games, Game Pass, or Xbox Live subscriptions, so you’ll have to get them separately or link your existing Xbox account. Only digital Xbox Series S games run at 1440p QHD, not native 4K. You can upgrade your storage to 4K with an expandable SSD, but the Series S has a 512GB internal SSD instead of a 1TB SSD.
