In Call of Duty, there’s no better gun than a good sniper rifle. You can’t beat Warzone 2.0, Modern Warfare 2, or any of the previous titles. You can’t really use them close range anymore, but that’s the only downside. Luckily, YouTuber M3rkMus1c came up with a perfect alternative.
Modern Warfare players may remember a shotgun called the 725 Sniper Shotgun. It was a shotgun kitted out with the best attachments to be a viable shotgun option while still being useful close to home. How do you build the 725 in Modern Warfare 2 and/or Warzone 2.0? Let’s get to it!
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0: Building the 725 Sniper Shotgun
To make sure this is the best long-range shotgun possible, M3rkMus1c played around with the gun we’re going to use in this 725 Sniper Shotgun build, the Longwood 300, to figure out the best attachment options.
In order to make the 725 Sniper Shotgun out of your Lockwood 300, you’ll need these attachments:
Stock – Bryson Natural Series
Optical – Daunt-C80
Barrel – Matuzek 812
Muzzle – Bryson Series IX
Firearms – Explosive Slug Rounds – 12 Gauge
Sniper shotguns are jokingly called that, but they won’t replace actual snipers or marksman rifles. Basically, it’s a great weapon to use if you need two jobs done at once, like distanced kills and easy hip-fire accuracy. Things will be a lot easier on the battlefield with this weapon. Due to its medium range, it works best in standard multiplayer matches, but also comes in handy in tighter locations across the Al Mazrahn Warzone 2.0 map, as well as Ground War and Invasion.
I guess that’s how you do it! Here’s everything you need to make your own 725 Sniper Shotgun! Take a look at our other Call of Duty guides, like “Is Highrise in Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2?” We answered it.
