One player has chosen to pursue a career that’s less violent than that of 150 super soldiers in Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Thanks to Warzone 2’s proximity voice chat, Reddit user Crescendummain became an in-game taxi driver. If they don’t kill him first, he offers rides to other squads. Crescendummain sticks to the main roads so players can get to their destination smoothly, offering small talk along the way.
The proximity chat feature lets players hear the voice chat of nearby enemies. Crescendummain uses this to spread a little friendliness in the otherwise intense first-person shooter. Infinity Ward’s Warzone 2 finally launched this week, following Call of Duty Battle Royale’s success. Al Mazrah is the biggest change, though, as the series has moved away from its classic Verdansk and Caldera settings. There was a glitch that locked some players out of the game and told them they had to buy Modern Warfare 2 to get back in.
