Having trouble inviting your friends to Warzone 2? Here’s how to fix it.
In the meantime, you can work around until Warzone 2 developers fix it.
When a player clicks the social button in Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2, the game reboots. On their Trello board (opens in new tab), the devs have the social tab issue tracked as a known issue, so they know about it.
Meanwhile, you can invite friends to parties through channels. To start a de facto party, just hit the headphones icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, and pick the ‘invite to channel’ option. Our friends at PC Gamer have also had great success with the workaround after posting about it on Reddit (opens in new tab). We’re crossing our fingers that the official fix won’t take too long.
There were a few server problems on launch day, but nothing major – a minor miracle when it comes to online games. This is also good since players will have to say goodbye to Warzone for now, since it’s disappearing for a few weeks before rebirth as Warzone Caldera.
