Warner Bros. Montreal said it’s working on performance issues for PC and console players in future Gotham Knights patches. A thread on Twitter says the team wants to outline some changes coming to the live game, as well as a general timeline for patches. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players can expect a patch by the end of the week with “needed fixes” that have come up since Gotham Knights launched last week.
Broadly speaking, Warner Bros. Montreal says it’s aware of PC and console players experiencing performance issues, and is working on a patch to fix it. Earlier this month, it was confirmed Gotham Knights would only run at 30fps on console, with no option for a higher frame rate performance mode for “untethered co-op.”
Along with general bug fixes, the latest PC patch also addressed crashing during Harley Quinn Hospital’s Boss Fight. The studio is also investigating a compatibility issue with Nvidia Ansel. IGN’s review of Gotham Knights cited “poor combat, a transparently predictable mystery, and grueling progression” as drawbacks.
