If you’re anything like me, your Halloween season has been filled with some spooky fun thanks to Call of Duty: Warzone. Whether it was Ghostface from Scream, Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw, Billy from Saw, or Frank from Donnie Darko crossover skins, or the amazing implementation of zombies into the map or game modes, there was always something to do.
The event would even have scavenger hunts and cool rewards. While Halloween usually brings some fun, Activision seems to be skipping it this year. They’re not? Here’s what’s really going on.
Is there a Halloween event this year in Call of Duty Warzone?
Though there’s usually a fantastic in-game event that players would be enjoying this time of year, called The Haunting, Activision doesn’t seem to be doing any kind of Halloween event this year with either Call of Duty: Warzone or Call of Duty: Vanguard.
In recent years, players would have already been playing the Halloween event for days by now, but Activision hasn’t announced anything. The zombie rebirth mode from the summer isn’t even back.
If you’re looking for your Call of Duty Halloween fix, Call of Duty: Mobile is currently running a seasonal event called The Haunted Voyage. A Halloween-themed version of the Hacienda map, zombies, and new weapons are all included. That’s at least something to fall back on!
In Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard, there’s nothing to celebrate during Halloween, but Call of Duty: Mobile is coming in clutch. Take a look at our other Call of Duty coverage!
