Updates on multiple Resident Evil projects will be shown on October 20, including the remake of Resident Evil 4 and Village Gold Edition.
We’re right in the middle of spooky season, so here are some updates on one of the biggest horror franchises. A Resident Evil showcase is happening on Thursday, October 20 at 6 PM ET / 3 PM PT. In the showcase, we’ll see updates on two big RE projects, Resident Evil 4 remake and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition. A new edition of Village will include several pieces of DLC, like a third-person mode and new characters for the Mercenaries mode. There are new characters like Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and Lady Dimitrescu. In addition, the Winter’s Expansion DLC will continue the story of Village through the eyes of Ethan’s daughter Rose.
We still know a lot about Resident Evil 4, so it’s the bigger deal here. According to Capcom, it’ll be a “reimagining” of the classic action game, similar to the recent Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes. Code Veronica remake is still a long way off, but we can hope.
