Need For Speed Unbound’s visual effects and art style were featured in a blog post by Devs Criterion. Drivers can activate driving VFXs as graffiti-like art around the lines of cars when they activate boosting powers.
Jumps, drifts, and other actions can earn players boosting powers. Darren White, art director of Need for Speed Unbound, stated, “Need for Speed Unbound’s realistic world and cars really help ground the visuals.” Using street art and other media as inspiration, we transform characters and visual effects into abstract expressions of ‘you’ and ‘your actions’.”
As well as designing tag designs, street artists like Sentrock and JC Rivera also customized cars with wraps, including a transparent option that revealed parts of the interior. Customizing a player’s driving tag will be possible in several ways. It has been announced so far that 140 cars will be included in Need For Speed Unbound.
A family auto shop is robbed in the opening scene of the upcoming racing game. In order to retrieve the stolen car, the players must complete a street racing challenge. Need For Speed Unbound’s debut trailer, which was announced on October 6, featured A$AP Rocky. PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch will all be eligible for Need For Speed Unbound on December 2. A 10-hour trial version will be released on November 29.
