Getting Started with Magic the Gathering

Magic the Gathering is a game that you need to understand the basics of if you are new to it. Basics are what make you understand how to play any game.

Magic the gathering  players represent powerful wizards who battle with powerful spells. Each player will begin with 20 lives. You win when your opponent’s totals drop to zero or when he cannot draw another card.

The game begins

Both of you need at least sixty cards, a large flat surface or preferably a table where you can lay the cards out. Each player must know how to keep score. You can use a pen or dice to record the scores if there are more than two of you.

The game will begin with the cards being shuffled. As an opening hand, each player will draw seven cards from his deck. As you draw cards, the rest of the decks become a library. Graveyards, also known as discard piles, are nearby this library. If you play a card, it will move to the territory, or else half of the surface where you are playing. Some of your cards can be moved to your opponent.

Determine who will get the choice by random means. You can either draw first or ply first if you are lucky enough to get the choice. You take the first turn in the magic the gathering game if you ply first. As a result, you will not be able to draw the card. When you draw first, you get a second turn of the game and can draw a card.

Cards

There are two types of cards in Magic the Gathering:

Magical spells
The land

In spells, these cards provide mana, or magical energy. You can lay out a land a turn and use it immediately. Magic the gathering becomes more interesting when the land turns its ideas into mana. Each part of the land produces a different color.

Color chart

Blue magic utilizes the elements of water and air to thrive. Green and red foils are traditional foils. Traditionally, black magic is associated with death and decay, with green and white foils. The magic of green will bring life to the forest. Peace or destruction can result from it. The traditional foils are black and blue. Fire and earth are the elements of red magic. White and blue foils will be used by magicians of the red, who specialize in violence of combat and chaos.

This game only requires you to understand the basics, and you will enjoy what magic the gathering has to offer.
