The Most Effective Way to Align Fortnite Star Sensors

Oathbound Quests Require Aligned Star Sensors

Our goal in Fortnite is to help you align your star sensors by damaging them in the right order, so you don’t waste too much time attacking them. In order to get started, we need to finish the second set of Oathbound quests in Fortnite, and then head to the correct spot to set up your star sensors and cosmic monitor, so we’ve got info on those too. Those puzzles in Fortnite can be solved if you know how to hit them in what order.

Fortnite Star Sensor Placement

In Fortnite, you’ll need to place star sensors before aligning them for the second set of Oathbound quests. Hidden Henge is located northwest of Faulty Splits. When you speak with Rift Warden Stellan for the second time, you’ll learn to plant star sensors and a cosmic monitor at this landmark. At the marked location on the map, you can interact with the glowing outlines surrounding the stone circle to set up your equipment.

Fortnite Star Sensor Alignment

The alignment of star sensors in Fortnite doesn’t require much finesse, since you need to hit them correctly with your harvesting tool in order to calibrate them. It’s possible to find the solution through trial and error, but it’s easier if you understand the puzzle, so you can follow it logically.

The star sensors have several moon phases, from waxing crescents to full moons to waning crescents. In Fortnite, you just need to hit the stars in the order shown above to align the star sensors, so you don’t have to worry about technical terms. The sensors will flash and turn gray as you damage them, so don’t worry if you go out of sequence, they won’t reset.

The Oathbound quests can be completed once all five are aligned with the cosmic monitor in the middle.
