You May Also Be Chromed by Fortnite D-Launchers
The Fortnite D-Launcher was introduced in response to areas moving their residents airborne in an effort to escape the Chrome threat. As Chrome continues to flow and take over more areas, these devices have now been expanded to many other POIs. They were discovered for the first time at Cloudy Condos, where they could access floating platforms without ziplines by launching them from the air instead. However, they were found only at Cloudy Condos for a time.
In the battle royale, you can move much faster if you have these launchers. However, you will find them particularly useful during Week 5 of Fortnite, when a quest requires three Fortnite D-Launchers to complete. You can find all of the Fortnite D-Launcher locations here so that you can locate them easily if you want some extra XP and clear that off your list.

The map above shows all of the Fortnite D-Launcher locations currently on the island, which are clustered around these points of interest:
- Cloudy Condos
- Flutter Barn
- Fort Jonesy
- Herald’s Sanctum
- Lustrous Lagoon
- Shimmering Shrine
- Shiny Sound
- Tilted Towers (on The Flairship floating above so could move in the future)
If you’re looking for maximum convenience, then you need to head over to Cloudy Condos situated in the southeast corner of the island, where you will find the most launchers.
As soon as you activate the plate between the wings of Fortnite, you can either reach a floating platform or bridge a gap in order to reach the other side. When you reach the launcher, you may be able to receive a Chrome spray, which enables you to immediately use its advantages. In order to accomplish this quest, you must use three Fortnite D-Launchers, which can even be duplicated.
